The Registration department is one of the most important departments in Palestine Polytechnic University . Students usually start their university days at this department and stay connected with it not only during their university life, but also after graduation

       The department started with one employee who used to carry out all the department activities manually. However, the department has developed to cope with the increasing number of departments and students. Most importantly, the work and activities of this department are carried out  based on computers and networks.

        In addition, the department has developed efficient  software programs and database to meet its present and future needs. These programs give the department, students and staff  access to the various activities and services of the department.

      The department offers services to over 4500 students enrolled in either the B.Sc. Program or the Diploma program, in addition to more than 6300 graduates .

The services offered by the Registration Department :

• Providing  new applicants with orientation courses and guidance.

• Registering students at the beginning of every semester.

• Providing graduates with all the required official documents such as transcripts, certificates, and other documents.            

• Providing students with university I.D's .

      The department plays a vital role in facilitating the students' academic process according to the university rules and regulations. What is known as "student file" is  connected to the university regulations on one hand and the students'  academic plan on the other. The department follows up the students academic achievement during their study at the university and guide them by  distributing their academic plan into:

• University requirements

• College requirements

• Department requirements

• Electives

• Required courses

      Furthermore, the Registration Office implements the university's regulations with reference to study period, study loads, examinations, dropping courses, postponing , withdrawal and transfer from one college to another.
