• The Vehicles Inspection Center at the PPU was established in 1997 as a result of the agreement signed between PPU and the Ministry of Transportation (MOT). This center is the only accredited vehicles inspection institution in the West Bank. Before establishing this center, Palestinian vehicle owners and the Ministry of Transportation had depended on Israeli workshops and laboratories for engineering, implementation, testing and certification of changes.
