To achieve its objectives,  CED carries out the following activities:-

• Determines the local community needs by conducting needs analysis workshops and meetings.
•  Implements the necessary activities to broaden  the continuing education and training culture. These activities includes: workshop. Lectures, brochures and web resources.
• Designs and implement a specialized training courses and programs (technical, administrative, languages…) according to pre-determined needs.
• Implements training courses to develop the competencies of the trainers.
• Implements special training program to develop the administrative and  educational competencies of the PPU staff.
• Cooperates with the department of public relations to seek donations and funds from local and international organization and institutions.
• Evaluates offered training courses and programs.
• Implements accredited training courses for specific organization .
• Implements accredited specific vocational programs.
