System Consultant
Post: Information Systems Consultant
Location: PPU /
Duration: two months (1/1/2009 – 28/2/2009)
Fees: 2,000 lump sum
Job Description and Responsibilities
The Information System Consultant will be responsible for the existing
human resources system assessment and
analysis along with providing the recommendations for a complete human
resources system associated with the PPU self assessment and strategic planning
project funded by the World Bank and the European Commission (EC) through the
Ministry of Education and Higher Education. This consultant shall directly report
to the Human Resources Department director and have overall responsibility of the
human resources system development at PPU. The coordinator shall be working in
cooperation with the PPU departments in order to accomplish the training
programs.
The training coordinator
is expected to perform the following tasks:

Reviewing the current
human resources system in order to update it into the proposed system by the
project of PPU Self Assessment and Strategic Planning

Providing the
necessary recommendations for a new system to be implemented

Coordinating and
help in implementing the new system
Requirements and qualifications
-
A master degree in
organizational behavior, HRM or a relative field from an accredited university
-
Experience in software
engineering with a minimum of two years
-
An experience in
the world bank projects will be a plus
Training and
Post: Training Coordinator
Location: PPU /
Duration: six months (1/11/2008 – 30/4/2009)
Fees: $ 700 per month
Job Description and Responsibilities
The training and capacity building coordinator will be
responsible for the training program associated with the PPU self assessment
and strategic planning project funded by the World Bank and the European
Commission (EC) through the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. This
consultant shall directly report to the Human Resources Department director and
have overall responsibility of training program of the PPU employees. The
coordinator shall be working in cooperation with the PPU departments in order
to accomplish the training programs.
The training coordinator
is expected to perform the following tasks:

Reviewing the
current training and capacity building programs in order to link them to the
proposed training programs by the project of PPU Self Assessment and Strategic
Planning

Coordinating and
implementing the new training programs associated with the project of PPU Self
Assessment and Strategic Planning
-
Setting up the
training halls and laboratories needed
-
The training
coordinator will be responsible for correspondence with the Human Resources
Department director.
Requirements and qualifications
-
A bachelor degree
in business administration or a relative field from an accredited university

Experience in
office work with a minimum of two years

An experience in
the world bank projects will be a plus
Training
Courses Design / Delivery Consultant
Post: Training Courses Design / Delivery Consultant
Location: PPU /
Duration: one month (1/11/2008 – 30/11/2008)
Fees: $ 500 per course design + $ 1,000 per course delivery
Job Description and Responsibilities
The Training Courses Design / Delivery consultant
will be responsible for developing and delivering the training courses
associated with the PPU self assessment and strategic planning project funded
by the World Bank and the European
Commission (EC)through the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. This
consultant shall directly report to the Human Resources Department director and
have overall responsibility of the design and delivery of the training courses
for the PPU employees. The consultant shall be working in cooperation with the
training coordinator in order to submit fully satisfied training courses.
The Training Courses
Design
and Delivery consultant is expected to perform the
following tasks:
-
Design a training
course according to specialty in the following fields
1.
First: technical training topics: Effective Communication, Proposal and
Reports Writing, Using Computer and Internet, First Aid, Reception and Protocol
Arts, Security Administration.
2.
Second: financial
and administrative training topics: Budgeting, Office Administration, Public
Relations, Time Management, Team Work Construction.
3.
Third: teaching
and learning training topics: Teaching Methodologies, E-Learning, Scientific
Research Approaches and Methodologies, Curriculum Development Methodologies,
Students Evaluation and Measurement, Teaching and Learning.

Deliver a short
term course according to specialty in the above mentioned fields
Deliverables:
-
A training course
module document and soft copy with all required recommendations and
illustrations
-
A training course
lectures and students evaluation documents
Requirements and qualifications
-
A minimum of a
master degree (a bachelor degree for first aid training course) in the field of
specialty needed or a relative field from a respected university
-
Training
experience of a minimum of 5 years

Training courses
design experience is required
