The PPU's Department
of Public Relations is the university's window
to the world. Its primary role is to reflect on and communicate the university's
programs, aims, projects and future plans. Furthermore, it works towards promoting
understanding inside and outside the university, as
well as establishing mutually beneficial relationships with counter universities
and other related organizations.
Tasks of Activities:
To achieve its mission, the PPU's
Department of Public Relations has performed the following key
tasks and activities:

Implementing communication strategies jointly
developed with the PPU administration.

Allocating internal and external sources to implement
and support the university's projects and scholarship
programs.

Responding to inquiries addressed to PPU from
the local community and the outside world.

Advising the UGU Board of Directors and the administration
of PPU on certain issues of development and planning.

Utilizing a wide range of communication tools
and media including reports, catalogues, newsletters, pamphlets and other publications.

Coordinating and implementing major university
events, including visits, exhibitions, workshops, other meetings.

Contribution in the development and maintenance
of the PPU website.

Coordinating local and international exchange
of delegations and scholars.

Communicating
the PPU's technical infracting and training needs to donor countries and organizations.
