Majalat video contest zoom on civil society in action on the ground

To highlight the commitment and the concrete action on the ground of the civil society actors of the southern neighborhood, Majalat organizes a contest of short videos (3 ') in linkage with its priority themes (Good governance and state of law, economic development and social dialogue, migration, climate and social justice, security and the fight against violence).
The competition is open to young people under 30 (amateur/film student) from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, and Tunisia.
A professional jury of well-known filmmakers from the region will choose the three winning videos. The first three laureates will receive prizes of 5,000 euros, 3,000 euros, and 2,000 euros and will be able to present their videos in the award ceremony during Majalat Civil Forum which will take place in Brussels on December 2nd and 3rd.
