The Footwear and Leather Products Development Center was established through a tripartite partnership involving Palestine Polytechnic University, the Ministry of National Economy, the Palestinian Standards and Metrology Institution, and the Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry, alongside several organizations and institutions operating in the footwear and leather sector, with supp ort from the French Development Agency.

The Center aims to support and develop the footwear and leather sector by providing testing, design, training, and information services. These efforts contribute to improving the quality of local products, enhancing their competitiveness, and protecting the rights of manufacturers, traders, and consumers.

Services

Specialized physical testing of footwear and leather products.

Development and design of footwear and leather products in accordance with market requirements.

Vocational and technical training and qualification programs for sector employees.

Provision of specialized technical information and consultancy services.

Support for the implementation of quality management systems and technical standards.

Preparation of studies, statistics, and databases related to the footwear and leather industry.

Support for local product development initiatives and enhancement of their competitiveness.
