Paid internship opportunity at AMIDEAST - Hebron Office

AMIDEAST is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals with an interest in international education to provide daily assistance to AMIDEAST’s Hebron Office Manager. This internship is expected to begin as soon as possible, and will require up to 40 hours of work per week.

Qualifications:
• University degree in related field;
• Proficient with MS Office tools including Excel, Word, Access and Outlook;
• Computer literate, fast typing speed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills (both Arabic and English);
• Well organized with an ability to multi-task and finish work on deadline;
• Strong customer service orientation;
• Innovative self-starter and problem solver able to work under pressure;
• Time management skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
• Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues as well as clients.

Responsibilities:
• Answer phone calls and distribute calls as necessary or take messages if relevant staff person is not available;
• Receive walk-in clients in a friendly and professional manner;
• Provide date entry in AMIDEAST’s customer relationship management database;
• Schedule classes, meetings, and appointments;
• Monitor office supplies and petty cash; 
• Everyday administrative duties, including filing, project related tasks, and general trouble shooting as needed;
• Fill in for Office Manager during his absence.
