The PPU Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning Holds Sixth Scientific Day

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at PPU, in the presence of the chancellor and academic and administrative staff held the sixth scientific day in teaching and learning. The staff pointed out the importance of higher education and its role in achieving the university’s vision and academic plan.

Moreover, the former director of the Searle Center for Advancing Learning & Teaching at Northwestern University Professor Gregory Light gave a presentation on teaching and learning and its impact on student development. Next, the Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning gave a presentation on the future of higher education till 2050, as envisaged by UNESCO. Later, a number of experts at the university talked about their successful experiences in higher education teaching.

At the end of the sixth scientific day, a discussion was held with the chancellor and his deputies on important issues related to higher education, the development of the university and its future plan.
