PPU participates in the launch of The Palestinian Platform for Scientific Research and Library, PaLib

Under the direction of Minister Dr. Mahmoud Abu Mwais, Palestine Polytechnic University took part in the Palestinian Platform for Scientific Research and Library PaLib launch ceremony, which was sponsored by the European Union through Erasmus+ projects and held at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Ramallah. The meeting was attended by Dr. Basri Saleh, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Raed Amro, PPU Vice President for Academic Affairs, and a number of representatives from other universities participating in the project in the West Bank and Gaza Strip through Zoom.

The project aims to improve higher education resources and references for Palestinian students and researchers by developing a shared platform to link all of the online resources from libraries at universities and community centers. In addition, a research site for Palestinian universities will be developed, which will allow for customization of different research aspects.

The PaLib project is a national electronic platform that compiles descriptive information on the library and research resources in research archives in higher education institutions. The project facilitates access to information through a single platform.

It is important to note that Palestine Polytechnic University, represented by Dr. Mohammed Abu Taha, Dean of the College of Applied Professions, is an active partner in this project.
