Master's Program in Intelligent Systems launched at Palestine Polytechnic University

The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at Palestine Polytechnic University has launched the Master's Program in Intelligent Systems. Teaching has started this semester for the first cohort of students enrolled in the program. The launch of this program is based on the University's belief in responding to the global development associated with the fourth industrial revolution, manifested by the spread of artificial intelligent and its applications in all aspects of life, providing such economic, developmental and operational opportunities. The program is hosted by the Intelligent Systems Research Center and is implemented by the College of Information Technology and Computer Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering.
The program has started with two tracks, namely "Data Science" and "Intelligent Robot Systems". The “Data Science” track covers recent trends in topics of big data, data mining, data display concepts and algorithms, and natural language processing. The other track "Intelligent Robot Systems" covers fixed industrial robots, ground and flying mobile robots, and delves into the issues of dynamics, design and control, human interaction with robots, and the robots' abilities regarding motion and autonomous action and function.
