Participation of Dr. Sharaf Taradeh in A Scientific Symposium on the Palestinian-German Bridge of Science (PGSB) at Jülich Research Institute in Germany

Dr. Sharaf Taradeh, from the Applied Biology Program, participated in the second symposium on PGSB which was held at the Department of Plant Sciences (IBG2) of the Jülich Research Institute.  Al-Taradeh gave a presentation on his role in the field of scientific research, his interests and research publications. He emphasized the importance of networking and scientific and research cooperation with the German side and that there is a real partnership between him and Dr. Christina Kuchendorf and Dr. Arend Cohen through the PGSB and Compasses Project, funded by PALGER.
It should be noted that the Master’s student: Ashwaq al-Najjar, is dispatched under the two projects to do  a master’s thesis research at Jülich Research Institute.  Ashwaq also gave a presentation about her project and reviewed the most important findings ready so far until the holding of this workshop.
The symposium was attended by a number of researchers from Jülich Institute, master’s students at the center and the master and doctoral students of PGSB program. It was also attended by a number of officials and organizers of the PGSB program who felt content with the partnership and cooperation and the ways to increase cooperation in the coming years.
