PPU students are among the winning teams in the first Digital Tourism 'Hackathon' competition

PPU students are among the winners in Hakathon which was launched in the Palestinian Technology Park in Birzeit where more than 90 entrepreneurs competed in the largest technological challenge ever. The university team won third place for the "Palestine Gate" project.

At the end of the hackathon, the winners received prizes, including smart phones from Cell Avenue and an incubation for developing emerging projects from Sigma Labs.

This competition is part of the Digital Tourism Month (June) in which more than 30 local and national institutions participated. Hackathon was supported by international institutions, including Oxfam Foundation and the Swiss Representative Office.
