PPU Hosts French Researcher as part of Al-Maqdisi - Campus France Project

The Palestine-Korea Biotechnology Center at PPU hosted Professor Fathia Mami-Chouaib from INSERM, Universite Paris Saclay, and Gustave Roussy Cancer Center for a scientific visit as part of the "Al-Maqdisi" program to support joint scientific research between Palestine and France.

The visit is part of a joint project between Professor Fathia’s lab and the Genomics and Molecular Diagnostics Research Team led by Dr. Yaqoub Ashhab of the Palestine-Korea Biotechnology Center to develop a therapeutic vaccine for lung cancer. During the visit, Fathia gave a lecture on "Cancer Immunotherapy: Novel Strategies to Treat Cancer."

Al-Maqdisi Program is funded by the Campus France Institute to support higher education, scientific research and international cooperation in education.
