PPU and Palestine Monetary Authority Sign MoU for cooperation in student training and scientific research

The Palestinian Monetary Authority and PPU signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening collaboration between the two organizations. This agreement seeks to foster partnerships in the areas of scientific research and training for university students in subjects related to financial and banking sciences, economics, business management and financial technology.

Under this agreement, the two organizations will collaborate to implement programs that aim to develop students' capabilities in various areas, including banking and finance, financial inclusion, financial technology, digital transformation and cybersecurity. The agreement also directs students' graduation projects towards finding creative solutions to issues related to the labor market. Furthermore, it opens up opportunities for university students and graduates from colleges such as business and economics, public administration, and bilateral studies (financial technology) to receive training at the Monetary Authority.

Dr. Amjad Barham emphasized the university's unwavering dedication to producing highly competent and skilled professionals that meet international standards. He also stressed the importance of imparting knowledge to students in a way that aligns with the dynamic needs and trends of the local and global markets. In line with its vision and strategy, PPU is committed to promoting a culture of digital transformation, especially in finance and banking transactions. To this end, the university has entered into several partnerships and signed memorandums of cooperation at all levels of academia and research, in addition to collaborating with various electronic payment platforms.
