PPU Celebrates Winners of Wood Bridge Building Competition

The University President, Dr. Amjad Barham, recently met with the winning teams of a wooden bridge competition organized by the Department of Civil Engineering through the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and in cooperation with the Student Union Council. The Student Council also honored the winning students in the presence of the President, Academic Vice President, and Head of the Department.

Around 50 students participated in the competition, divided into eight teams, with six teams from the College of Engineering and two teams from the College of Applied Professions. An arbitration committee consisting of faculty members from both colleges judged the competition. The first, second, and third place teams were awarded, and the winning team will qualify to participate in the Bridges Competition at An-Najah National University.
