Dr. Ahmed Rabei, the Ambassador of Palestine in Pakistan, welcomed Dr. Amjad Barham, the President of Palestine Polytechnic University, at the embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan. Dr. Barham was visiting the embassy after attending the Vice Chancellor’s Forum 2023, Universities in the Islamic World: Towards Disruptive Technology in a Globalized World.
During their meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen the international cooperation between PPU and Pakistani universities. They also talked about joint efforts to secure postgraduate scholarships for PPU graduates. Dr. Rabei invited the heads of Pakistani universities and leaders of academic institutions to meet with Dr. Barham to explore opportunities for collaboration in developing the Palestinian educational system, such as joint development projects and joint scientific research. They also discussed the possibility of receiving Palestinian university students for advanced specialization training in fields such as science, engineering, and medicine.
