College of Applied Professions at PPU Fosters Collaboration with Private Sector Through Greening-IE Project Dialogue Meeting

The College of Applied Professions at Palestine Polytechnic University recently hosted a dialogue meeting with representatives from the local industrial sector as part of the Greening-IE project. The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the content of the Sustainable Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Product Design programs offered by the college.

The meeting opened with a speech from the college's dean, Dr. Mohammed Abu Taha, stressing the importance of continuous communication with the local market to enhance the integration between academic and practical aspects and meet the needs of the local market. During the meeting, the college's engineer, Safaa Seder, presented the industrial programs offered by the college and the sustainability aspects that have been added to these programs. The representatives from the private sector emphasized the importance of these programs and the vital role their graduates play in enhancing the efficiency of the productive private sector.

The Greening-IE project, funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program, aims to improve the sustainability aspects of industrial programs, thereby enhancing the status and competitiveness of the university's technical specializations and preparing graduates to enter the job market effectively.
