Anti-bribery and anti-corruption policy statement

PPU is committed to applying the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in its various activities internally and externally. Every employee and individual acting on PPU’s behalf are responsible for maintaining our reputation and for conducting responsibilities honestly and professionally. PPU takes a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and is committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all our professional actions and relationships wherever we operate.

PPU’s Board of Trustees and Management including committees and subcommittees of all activities are committed to implementing and enforcing effective transparent and professional systems of PPU determined by the set of bylaws and guidelines of the various services and actions taken by all those working at and for PPU. PPU guarantees sound practices and the enforcement of bylaws through the Department of Internal Administrative and Financial Audit and the recruitment of an external financial auditor. The prevention, detection, and reporting of bribery and other forms of corruption is the responsibility of all those working at and for PPU, or supplying services to PPU, or under PPU’s control. We and our partners, donors, and service providers keep financial records and have appropriate internal controls in place which evidence the business reason for giving and/or receiving payments from/to third parties.
