The main set of policies for ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being at PPU starts from establishing a clinic on campus that serves all students and employees in case medical cases take place. Also, PPU has a full health insurance and accident insurance policies covering all students, staff and visitors of PPU in case of any emergency.
On a broader scope, PPU provides occupational safety and health consultations and training programs for local institutions and PPU internal divisions through the National Center for Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health - COSHEP. The Center also provides an associate diploma program in occupational safety and health to support institutions with professional safety and health officers that perform audits and enhance their work environments at the various types of institutions in Palestine.
